- The main objective of this study was the execution of a master plan, as well as the development of basic designs related to the strengthening and rehabilitation of the water supply and wastewater sewerage systems of the urban and peri-urban area of ​​the city of Catete. The proposed solutions included structured public systems as well as simplified public systems specially designed for rural and peri-urban areas, both for water supply and wastewater sewerage.

- The services performed within the scope of this study were: Survey and assessment of the existing infrastructure, establishment of a calculation method for population estimation, preparation of a master plan for the time horizon of 2030, development of preliminary studies and preliminary design for the water supply and sanitation networks in the urban and peri-urban areas of Catete and an environmental impact study of the solutions to be implemented.

Os serviços efetuados no âmbito deste estudo foram: o levantamento e avaliação das infraestruturas existentes, estabelecimento de metodologia de cálculo para a estimativa da população, elaboração de um plano diretor para o ano horizonte de projeto de 2030, elaboração dos estudos de base e anteprojetos de engenharia para a rede de abastecimento de água e saneamento nas zonas urbanas e periurbanas de Catete e estudo de impacte ambiental das soluções a implementar.
