This is a movie theatre with a very special architectural design, where the use of post-tensioned concrete dominates the structural and architectural aspect.
The organic and asymmetric shapes of the building led to the need to design bold structural solutions, where the walls were used as structural shells, using post tensioning generically to control cracking. The final result was a construction work where the structure plays a key role in the shape of the building, achieved through a very close and intense interaction between architecture and structure teams.
